New growth has golden leaves which changes to an overall green and gold variegation. semi shade is best. cut it into a shape if your creative side is screaming to do so! looks great with early flowering blue bulbs and Corydalis at it's feet!  also makes a great golden hedge backed by blue and purple flowers.
